Brent Schippers joined PetSmart in 2015 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Strategy & Transformation. In this role, he oversees our enterprise strategy, business transformation, automation and AI, and Operations Finance teams to shape our long-term strategic agenda, accelerate cross-functional initiatives and ensure our priorities translate into measurable business outcomes. 

Previously, Brent held various leadership roles across finance and merchandise planning and allocation for Payless ShoeSource and Build-A-Bear Workshop.

First Job: Brent’s first job was a Burger King cashier and landscaper, where he learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration.

Education: He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science, later earning his Master of Business Administration.

Hobbies: He is an active volunteer at his church and coaches youth sports teams. Brent, his wife, and four children have four dogs, a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, and a fish.
