Warner Robins, Ga. (Oct. 5, 2023) – Co-Founders of “Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospitals,” Dr. Vernard Hodges, DVM and Dr. Terrence Ferguson, DVM, open their second PetSmart Veterinary Services (PVS) hospital in the Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospital’s hometown of Warner Robins, Ga. The new location is inside the local PetSmart store located at 2730 Watson Blvd. and is now accepting new pet patients.
Dr. Clarrissa Porter, DVM will serve as the location’s primary practicing veterinarian and part owner of the hospital. Dr. Porter began her career as a technician at Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospital more than 20 years ago. Drs. Hodges and Ferguson have been great mentors to her, inspiring her to become a veterinarian.
“It has long been my mission to inspire the next generation of future veterinarians,” said Dr. Hodges.
“With PVS I am grateful to provide additional opportunities for veterinarians of color to take on leadership and ownership roles within the profession and their community.”
There will be a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST. The community is invited to stop by to meet the local team of veterinarians and staff and learn more about the PVS offerings. The event will include:
