Pet Parents in Hurricane-Impacted Areas Can Bring Their Dogs to a Local PetSmart Grooming Salon for a Free Bath
PHOENIX – September 18, 2018 – With thousands of residents still impacted by Hurricane Florence, PetSmart is offering free dog baths to help pet parents as they return to normalcy.
Now through Saturday, September 22, from noon until close, PetSmart will offer a free basic bath to pets in the impacted communities. Residents are encouraged to call the store ahead of time to book their pet’s bath appointment and mention the free bath offer when booking.
“Pets can get dirty during the chaos of a hurricane, but with everything pet families have to deal with following a storm, they may not be able to tend to their pet’s hygiene right away,” said Joanna Zucker, vice president of services at PetSmart. “By offering free baths, we hope to make things a little bit easier for pets and pet parents impacted by the storm.”
In order to maintain a safe and comfortable grooming environment, pets must be current on their rabies vaccinations in order to receive their free bath. For more information, pet parents can call their local store for details and availability. Add-on services will be available for purchase.
